摘要：
The operative treatment of skeletal metastases takes only a small part of the total of traumatology and orthopaedic treatments. They should taken within the scope of an interdisciplinary treatment plan and mean a palliative step. The pathological fracture is, especially such of the spinal column and the long bones an absolute indication for stabilisation. The prophylactic stabilisation has priority by patients with osteolyses, because essential benefits. 48 operative steps in all has been taken between 1995 and 1997 in the "Zentrum fur Orthopadie, Unfall- und Wiederherstellungschirurgie" of the Klinikum Suhl.
