摘要
The equipment used in all fields of activities have become increasingly complex and expensive, a fact which makes it necessary to carefully analyze all options when purchasing a piece of equipment so as to make the best decision possible. This type of analysis is performed when in order to purchase a complex equipment, one has to put the latter's characteristics and performances to the test, a fact which is very expensive as well. The model offered by decision trees is a useful tool for the accomplishment of this kind of analysis and can be used for classification and prediction activities under conditions of uncertainty. Given the high testing and acquisition costs of military equipments, such analyses have to be rigorously and adequately grounded. Such analyses require a huge amount of effort, the use of adequate software becoming essential. This study does not only present software which makes it possible to perform such analyses automatically and gives the optimal solution, but also offer all decision-makers a very useful instrument to be used in such analyses.
