摘要
The major applications of power electronics is controlling the other high power equipment in real time environments like power converters, arc furnaces, and adjustable speed drives. The process of providing exact voltage and power factor is important in all aspects. The traditional schemes for the improvement of power factor in active filter concepts are analysed in literature about the nonlinearity in nature. The conventional power system modules are delivering the power with power quality. Since, there is a limitation like uncontrollable harmonic reduction during high power transmission process. This research contributed in two aspects. Initially, the methods for harmonic reduction in the current waveforms of the inverters are analysed. Then, the modifications in the filtering stage are used to obtain ripple free (DC) output voltage and currents. This process reduces the total harmonics. The overall simulation is carried out in MATLAB Simulink module for hybrid designs. The results prove that the proposed modified p-q theory based filtering mechanism applied with shunt active power filter has the value of 2.10% henceforth the Perfect Harmonic cancellation module is considered here for comparison. The dynamics of the dc-link voltage is utilized in a predictive controller to generate the first estimate followed by convergence of the algorithm by an adaptive ALN (adaline) based network. Again Neuro-Fuzzy control is used which gives still better simulation result.
