摘要：
Perl not only has support for object-oriented programming but is an excellent vehicle for teaching object-oriented concepts. When the authors teach object-orientation to students for the first time using Perl students begin by using Perl modules which are created by others. Many standard Perl modules are object-oriented. We then move on to teaching students how to create their own modules.
