B-Spline Functions for the Design of Crossover Digital Filters

摘要：
A fast technique for designing of crossover digital filters is proposed. This technique is based on using the B-spline functions in the transition frequency band for designing the two channel crossover filters. The main advantage of the proposed design scheme is that it lowers the computational complexity when compared with other existing techniques. Sonic examples are included illustrating the resulting crossover filters closely satisfy the reduced overall distortion.
