摘要
Corporate governance is recognized as a key issue as it emerged from a country's legal and regulatory environment. This paper attempts to review the current efforts of reforms of corporate governance, legal, regulatory and institutional reforms to strengthen corporate governance, and issues involved in implementing such framework. The method used is largely a qualitative approach through literature review and identification of documents that focus on governing capacity. It is found that the challenges are in enforcing sound corporate governance practices and ensuring professionalism of those involved in the governance process continuously.
