A Closed Loop WAN Antenna to Reduce Head and Hand Effects for Mobile Phone Applications

摘要
In this paper, we introduced a mobile phone closed loop WAN antenna system with tunable RF circuits and automatic S11 calculation algorithm that can dynamically optimize antenna return loss to reduce the head and hand user effects on the antenna impedance matching. Measured antenna S11 indicates that antenna resonance can shift back to original frequency even it is detuned for over 150 MHz at 900 band.
