摘要
Polypeptides are one of the most versatile biocompatible and biodegradable synthetic polymers. Nowadays, the functional polypeptides prepared by the ring-opening polymerization (ROP) of alpha-amino acid N-carboxyanhydrides (NCAs) have attracted increased attention, especially in the biomedical fields. In this chapter, the recent advances in the functional modifications of polypeptides were summarizes, and an overview on the various methods for the controlled syntheses of functional polypeptides was presented.
