Impact of Regional Industrial Transfer on Innovation - Evidence from Anhui

Inter-district industrial transfer is the transformation of industries between regions through the inter-regional direct investment, inter-district outsourcing, technology transfer to transfer the production, sales, research and development and even the corporate headquarters to another country or region in accordance with the principle of comparative advantage due to change of resource supply or product demand conditions enterprises in some country of area. This paper studies inter-district transfer of industry influence on the mechanism of independent innovation and uses Anhui as an example to conduct empirical analysis. Results show that in general RI had a significant positive spillover effects on patent applications in Anhui.
