The non-pharmacological measures of contention of the spread of the coronavirus pandemic (SARS-CoV-2), or COVID19, have impacted the world in several areas such as environmental, social, and economic. Therefore, the aim of this article is to discuss the effects in school scenarios, however, in sectors not related to teaching, but which were affected by the closure of schools. Therefore, this research was initially carried out an analysis of the literature to investigate the main sectors affected within the schools and through case studies with open interviews with principals of three technical schools from three different cities of Baixada Santista/SP and entrepreneurs related to the subject to identify the impacts due to the reduction of their various activities. The economic aspect, however, is one of the most affected by the effects of social distancing, since most economic activities have been ceased or drastically reduced. It is still premature to state which practices will be maintained in the return of face-to-face classes, however more rigid actions of hygiene and innovations to business with the possibility of remote interaction will certainly have great prominence.
