摘要
The sustainable tomorrow for future generation lies with the present industrial development towards proper utilization of various waste products. High performance and biodegradable plant materials with low cost easily available Red mud waste can form new platform for advanced technology products. Combination of both biodegradable reinforcement and non-biodegradable filler with two miscible thermosetting polymers will give better property. Here we use Red mud up to 15wt % (based on resin weight) as filler. Finally we established that red mud filled bamboo/unsaturated polyester/epoxy (50:50) composites offered improved results by 10wt% of the filler content with maximum improvement in all properties.
