摘要
In the frame of this article different approaches for enhancement of UV response of silicon photodetectors are being reviewed and analysed. The approach of nanoparticles possessing wavelength-shifting properties is specifically explored. A model for numerical simulations is elaborated and basing on initial calculations the anticipated responsivity change of a detector can be predicted. A practical realization of the proposed concept is performed using the zinc oxide nanoparticles. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
