A template-based approach for service-oriented e-business solutions

In a service oriented enterprise, there are many services for serving different e-business needs of the enterprise. These services may include those for business operations, inter- or intra-enterprise communications, and business controls. However, using these services to create e-business solutions could be a challenge as the number and the complexity of these services grow significantly. In this paper, we are going to propose a template-base approach for more efficient creation of these service-oriented e-business solutions. We will first introduce several relevant concepts. Then, we will describe and categorize typical e-business services. Next, we will propose the e-business solution template framework for the service-oriented e-business solutions. Finally, we will provide an example to illustrate how this approach can be used for more effective creation of e-business solutions in a typical e-business setting.
