摘要：
The operation of a three-phase induction motor in single-phase power supply under Smith's scheme is considered. Expressions have been obtained to determine the capacitance and voltages of the capacitors, where symmetric three-phase systems of voltages and currents can be obtained for all slip values. Several results are presented to illustrate the performance of the proposed methodology.
