摘要
Hybrid Power Systems often combine multiple forms of energy storage and conversion devices such as batteries, internal combustion engine generators, photo voltaic solar arrays, wind turbines and fuel cells. Lithium-ion batteries offer some unique advantages in these applications in the form of high cycle life, charge efficiency and partial state of charge tolerance. This paper makes a comparison of Lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries in hybrid power applications in an example telecom hybrid power system.
