摘要
There has been a rapid increase in the number of embedded-computing-based devices to help the users to evolve into pervasive computing. Employing artificial intelligence (AI) techniques helps to relieve the immense cognitive loads created by the evolution and allows systems to autonomously program the environment nonintrusively according to the user's needs. AI plays a vital role in future implementation of pervasive computing systems, creates complex mathematical models of dynamic real-world, and maps the necessary sensory information on an intelligent, preemtive set of behaviors. The employed AI mechanisms also offer real-time mining of the user data and create on-the-fly updatable user-preference models that could be executable over the pervasive network. Computational Intelligence (CI) techniques are tolerant of imprecision, uncertainty, approximation, and partial truth, making them well suited for the pervasive computing applications.
