摘要
Based on the experience gained from the studies and the developments conducted under ESA and CNES contracts in the period 1991 to 1997, ADV has established a global approach for the implementation of satellite data management systems. The adopted approach focuses on system methodology and micro-electronics design since these two domain are considered as major drivers for the future. Concerning the system methodology ADV has adopted an approach based on the use of a " reference model " for on-board computers and the modeling & simulation of the satellite data handling. With respect to micro-electronics the emphasis is placed on an ASSP approach which will allow to obtain significant cost reductions on programs and latter on to address system-on-a chip designs and micro-systems.
