Coreceptor utilization of HIV-1 subtype C viruses from the Limpopo Province of South Africa

摘要：
Fourteen viruses from HIV-1 subtype C infected adults in the Limpopo Province of South Africa were found to prefer the CCR5 to the CXCR4 coreceptor. Disease stage was not found to influence coreceptor use.
