摘要
Air pollution affects pollen allergy in at least three ways: through its direct effects on human health, through changes in plant health, and through the direct alteration of the allergenic pollen grain. This literature review addresses the latter point: the chemical or biological effects of air pollution on pollen grain (GP). The health effects of these alterations to the PG are not detailed in this literature review, which focuses specifically on biological, chemical or structural changes in PG due to air pollution. The effects of CO2 on plants and their reproduction are discussed in the article on climate change by J. -P. Besancenot. (C) 2019 Elsevier Masson SAS. All rights reserved.
