The phase equilibria for the complete Co-Cr-Ti ternary system was investigated. The Co-Cr phase diagram showed a eutectic reaction and three more intermediate phases were formed from the ε phase. The Co-Ti system depicted the presence of five intermediate phases of which Co2Ti(c) was a cubic Cu2 Mg-type Laves and Co2(h) was a hexagonal MgNi2-type Laves phase. The Cr-Ti system showed an isomorphous system with a minimum of 1408 °C. Two laves phases, cubic Cr2Ti(c) and hexagonal Cr2Ti(h) were formed from the solid solutions α phase at different compositions.
