Prospects for Bose-Einstein condensation in ground state molecules

摘要
We briefly discuss aspects of ultracold molecular collisions that are relevant to the production and stability of molecular Bose-Einstein condensates. As an example, we focus on the paramagnetic oxygen molecule, both in the absence and the presence of a magnetic field. This article was based on an invited talk in Seminar 7, Bose-Einstein Condensation of Trapped Atoms, at the 11th International Laser Physics Workshop, Bratislava, Slovak Republic, July 1-5, 2002.
