摘要
Auction theory (AT) is very appropriate and effective for resource management for computational grid. A multi-auctioneer grid resource management prototype system based upon AT is designed and implemented. Double auction model is used. Simulating experimental results shows the prototype system uses effectively resources in the grid environment and eliminates the bottleneck of job scheduling when there are abundant jobs that are needed to submit to the grid system. It improves the performance of grid system. At the same time it increases the profits for both sides. The system provides mechanisms for optimizing resources providers and consumers objective functions.
