摘要
In the era 'Big Data', knowledge will be pervasively generated from a large amount of data being acquired by organization. When data is turned into information then processed further into knowledge, the organization either private or public will be able to position better in responding and further innovate all parts of their business line in order to increase their competitive advantage from the value generated as well as to innovate an entirely different and new business models. While Knowledge Management System (KMS) can offer a proper platform for organizations to enhance their valuable asset and data should be one of those valuable assets in organization. Knowledge Management has the capability to incorporate and strengthen information from various channels and sources either structured or unstructured. Big Data is positioned uniquely in order to take advantages of KM procedures as well as processes. These procedures and processes allows KM to bring forth a structure that is rich which can assist in decision making with the abundance of data variation. The paper aims to examine correlation between Big Data and KM whether we can benefit from utilizing it in organization.
