Research on and Practice of Construction Mathematical Modeling Teaching Team in Newly-Upgraded Colleges

Along with China's higher education transformation from elite education to popular education, college enrollment scale continues to enlarge, and various problems about education quality are emerging. In order to implement scientific development idea, and to attach more attention on enhancing higher education quality, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Finance issued views about implementing the project how to enhance undergraduate education quality and to reform teaching, which claimed that it was among the most important tasks of education quality project to construct teaching team. According to views of teaching team construction issued by Ministry of Education, based on the long-term practice of mathematics department of Hechi University, the paper discusses aim, tasks, strategy and difficulty of constructing teaching team of mathematics modeling.
