摘要
The. O-17(n(th),alpha)C-14 reaction cross section was determined at the high flux reactor of the ILL in Grenoble relative to the known N-14(n(th),p)C-14 cross section. For the flux calibration measurements, N-14(2) from the air was used. The O-17(n,alpha) measurements were performed with several highly enriched oxygen gas samples. This resulted in a precise value of (244+/-7) mb for the O-17(n(th),alpha)C-14 cross section. [S0556-2813(98)05410-7].
