A process-based framework for life-cycle sustainable management of construction project

Buildings are energy gluttons that produce large amount of wastes. We have to rethink our behaviour based on green building philosophy and improve construction process for the sake of not sacrificing the interest of our next generation. In order to reduce energy consumption and environment loadings, great effort has been made to establish theories, methodology and tools for sustainable construction. GBTool is a useful tool that can help us identify the green performance of a building. Based on GBTool, we put forward a process-based framework that can help construction professionals to realize green building in the construction industry.
