摘要
With the rapid development of science and technology, the form of research teams has great changes, which makes the management of research teams more important. This paper designs and implements a knowledge management system for research teams based on content based image retrieval. In general retrieval algorithms, the scale invariant feature transform (SIFT) algorithm becomes popular due to its robustness for scale variation, rotation, illumination, etc. An improved SIFT algorithm is introduced in this paper in order to reduce the processing time without destroy the superiority of the original SIFT algorithm. The management system, implemented in this paper, can not only provide a better way to retrieval the explicit knowledge, but also a good environment for team members sharing and exchanging the tacit knowledge.
