摘要：
Czech Republic belongs among the countries with a long tradition of textile industry and research. It is possible to mention e.g. invention of open end spinning, shuttle less weaving and new kinds of nonwovens. The main aim of this contribution is to describe current state and development in the Czech textile branch. Some recent projects solved in academic and industrial research centers are listed.
