摘要：

In this article I intend to demonstrate the connection between the so called New Natural Law Theory (represented by authors such as Germain Grisez, John Finnis, Robert P. George et al) and the very idea of dignity of the human person. In my argument I will show how the idea of natural law is the one that best express what the human rights mean. Along my argument I will refer to the examples of abortion and slavery in order to clarify my point.
