摘要：

Fuzzy logic control methods were applied to TMP plant freeness and fiber length control in Holmen Paper's Hallstavik Paper Mill in Sweden. The control is based on in-line measurement of the consistency directly after the refiners, and measurements of the freeness and fiber length. The system is in use in four refining lines and the experiences have proved clear stabilisation of the freeness and maintaining the fiber length on the acceptable level.
