Numerical simulating of a transonic turbine cascade with trailing edge coolant ejection

摘要
This paper presents the aerodynamics analysis of a highly pressure turbine inlet guide vane (IGV) with cooling ejection at trailing edge. The commercial CFD software ANSYS/FLOTRAN is used. With FLOTRAN CFD full Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes equation using a standard k-epsilon turbulence model are solved. The results show that the computational results closely match the shapes and magnitudes of the measure data, and indicat that FLOTRAN can be used to predict performance accurately.
