摘要
The extreme flexion of the thoraco-lumbar spine has been described in scientific literature as an acute trunk bending in young soldiers originated by psychogenic stress. Camptocormia has been reported as a dose dependent side effect of sodium valproate and as symptom of organic disorders. Forms of axial dystonias have been described among unusual phenomenon in Parkinson's Disease and as a feature of Lewy Body Disease. We investigated therefore the incidence of axial dystonia in patients affected by PD or LBD. In a second observation was investigated the appearance of dystonic flecture after the administration of cholinesterase inhibitors, in patients affected by LBD and PD with cognitive decline. We observed that axial dystonia was a predominant feature in LBD patients, appearing earlier and in more severe forms than in PD.
