Hydrogen peroxide oxidation of lignin model compounds catalyzed by a manganese(IV)-Me4DTNE complex

摘要
The kinetics of oxidation of 1-(3,4-dimethylphenyl)ethanol, 1-(3,4-dimethylphenyl)-1-propene (mixture of E, Z isomers), and E-diphenylethene with hydrogen peroxide catalyzed by [LMn(IV)(mu-O)(3)Mn(IV)](ClO4)(2), where L=1,2-bis-(4,7-dimethyl-1,4,7-triazacyclonon-1-yl)ethane was investigated. These lignin model compounds underwent pseudo-first order reaction with excess hydrogen peroxide. The reaction rate constants at various temperature and the activation energy of these reactions were reported in this poster.
