摘要
The Reusable First Stage (RFS) is a very timely low cost vehicle that, as a system, enables multiple programs and provides a low cost means of demonstrating the next frontier in space transportation, that of reusability. The Liquid fly Back Booster is the first program that would be enabled by the RFS with its shape, large, and low cost development approach. This paper discusses the features and benefits of the RFS vehicle and its role in leveraging current and future reusable transportation systems funding through its applicability to multiple programs.
