Synthesis and EPR Investigation of Ag(II) Complexes with N,N- and N,O-Donor Ligands

摘要：

Complexes of silver(II) with N,N,- and N,O-donor ligands were synthesized and investigated using EPR. A proposal is put forward for the nature of the nearest ligand environment of Ag(II) in the complex with 4,4'-dipy. Values of the g-factor for complexes with N,O-donor ligands (quinolinic or quinaldic acids) are typical for the Ag(2+) ion in a distorted octahedral environment with preferential elongation along one of the fourfold axes.
