摘要
Titanium alloys and their combustion characteristics as well as the burn-resistant mechanism are reviewed firstly in the present study. Various methods to improve the burn-resistant properties of titanium alloys such as plasma coppering, chromizing, molybdenuming and niobiuming on the surface of the titanium alloy by the double glow plasma surface alloying technology are introduced, and the research progress about the burn-resistant properties of titanium alloys is also presented. It has been shown that qualitative modification of titanium alloy surface is an effective and potential way to improve the burn-resistant performance of titanium alloy surface.
