摘要
A new type of displacement monitoring system, using the Global Positioning System (GPS) developed by the authors, can provide highly accurate and precise measurement results compared with conventional GPS receivers. This paper outlines the system and the results of some practical applications. The Displacement Monitoring Approach (DMA) is also proposed as an interpretation method for measured displacements in the assessment of slope stability.
