Members at the Tennessee Bridge Research Laboratory (TBRL) at the University of Tennessee Knoxville (UTK) are actively involved in the research area of accelerating renewal of highway bridges (web.utk.edu/similar to zma2).Specifically, they are working on applying the high-performance structural materials and developing new systems in order to better characterize their properties and optimize their use, and develop efficient design and construction systems, standards and details.
