High-performance repair materials for concrete bridges

摘要
Based on new, high-performance cements, a wide range of new concrete composites have been developed, which is characterized by a high resistance against severe environmental and loading conditions. These characteristics also make the new materials useful for various types of repair work. In the present paper, the results for an experimental investigation on repair materials for concrete bridges under severe conditions are presented. It is shown that the repair material has a very good resistance against both capillary absorption, freezing and thawing and chloride penetration, even shortly after execution of work. The repair material is also easily pumpable even with 2% steel fibers.
