The method and application of fabric style design based on the style evaluation of fabric

On basis of the specification parameters and mechanical properties of fabric, this paper studies the characterization of fabric style-principal factors and their primary determinant by making use of principal factor analysis method. It also studies the primary correlated ingredients of specification parameters which have an influence on fabric properties by using correlation analysis method. The principle and the means of fabric style design method are expatiated on by setting up the relationship among fabric style, property parameters and specification parameters. And 37 wool-like fabrics are taken as example for investigation, whose main specification parameters and property parameters are analyzed. With the guidance of fabric style design method, the double elastic wool-like fancy fabric has been designed and trial-manufactured and quite ideal fabric style of the production is achieved.
