摘要
Currently educational institutions are in constant transformation, due to pandemics, technological advances and the appearance of emerging paradigms that allow innovation in teaching and learning processes; Within this dynamic, the teacher has had to change his role, he is not only a facilitator of learning in person, but now he creates knowledge, communicates and transmits emotions through Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). It is because of the aforementioned that the objective of this work was to analyze the impact of a training course for the development of digital competence in teachers of a public university in the southeast of Mexico, according to the elements of the Integral Educational Model of Training (IEMT). The study was based on a mixed approach with an action research study design (diagnosis and planning of the situation, implementation or action, monitoring or observation and reflection). The results obtained showed that 90% of the aspects of the technical, pedagogical and communication dimensions were valued at a high level, for which the teachers had a significant increase regarding their digital competence; likewise, in the interviews they expressed that the course allowed them to consolidate their training formation, since they learned the pedagogical use of ICT, to work collaboratively and to develop their self-learning.
