摘要
In modern industry belongs dominance to automatization processes. For automatization are using a lot of modern technologies for example machine vision. Machine vison is used to control processes executed in production. It is based on recognizing objects shapes measure distances using only camera sensor. These systems and mechanisms representing a huge potential. Usually object recognition is already a common thing in many smartphones and cameras for entertainment applications where they are also enriched in the shape of infrared-based sensors. For use in the field of automatic control of other devices it is necessary to find out how much reliable and how reliable the object is in front of the sensor. This document provides an overview of how to measure the distance between a camera and an object and methods how does measurements provide. For experimental research is used a COGNEX camera and tested the accuracy of measuring distance using a camera.
