摘要
We introduce a multi-channel super high frequency TV signal transmission system that passes a multi-channel TV signal, super-high frequency (SHF), through access fiber to the optical network unit (ONU). In the ONU, the signal is down converted to the intermediate frequency (IF) by a low noise block down converter (LNB). The IF signal is output to the television set. Measured characteristics of two of the system's key components, the cascaded optical modulation scheme and the two-step optical SSB modulation scheme, are reported.
