摘要
The method of quick period measurement in this paper is used to improve measurement speed and to ensure that there is only I time scale pulse error, without changing the frequency of time scale signal. Firstly, a long gate time (N full period time T-x) is divided into several shorter gate time to increase measuring speed; secondly, during the whole measurement time, all counters work continuously to make sure the measurement precision is guaranteed; thirdly, when calculating the frequency of the measured signal, summation of the time scale pulse count value and those of others before it is counted as the total value, and that of the corresponding short gate time as the total gate time as well. In this way, we get the frequency of the signal. The principle of the measurement to signals in multi-channel and its application circuits are introduced and presented in the paper.
