Enhancement of the magnetoelectric effect in thin ferroelectric films

摘要：
The enhancement of the nonlinear magnetoelectric effect in a magnetic field is predicted for a ferroelectric film in a system consisting of ferroelectric and paraelectric layers in the vicinity of the size-induced ferroelectric phase transition. This effect is assumed to be maximum in semiconductor ferroelectrics. (C) 2003 MAIK "Nauka / Interperiodica".
