A computer model of an annular array transducer for high resolution ultrasound imaging

摘要：
A novel family of exact solutions to the homogenous wave equation has been derived. Theoretically, these kinds of acoustic beams produced by an infinite aperture are nondiffracting. The beam width can be optimised while the frequency spectra designed within ultrasonic range, Here we present a computer model to simulate a novel ultrasonic transducer array to generate limited diffraction ultrasonic beams. The results indicate that the beams generated by the modeled ultrasonic transducer array remain the characteristics of limited diffraction.
