A Brief Analysis on the Improvement of Students' Employment Ability in the Art Design Major of Private Colleges and Universities

At present, private colleges gain a rapid growth in ordinary higher education, while the employment problem in private colleges can not be ignored. The students' employment ability determines the school employment level. As a special group in private colleges, art design students have distinct learning characteristics and personality, but their employment career cognitive ability and comprehensive ability are insufficient. Based on this, the paper makes an analysis of the employment ability characteristics and formation causes of art and design students in private colleges, and then it puts forward suggestions and countermeasures from four aspects, namely, carrying out targeted employment education for art design students, gradually improving the system of scientific and reasonable employment guidance, making full use of the information platform to establish students employment archives, and strengthening students' employment psychological health education to help students set up the correct profession choosing idea, help students to set up innovation consciousness, and cultivate students' innovative entrepreneurship.
