Leakage cycle in WDM optical networks

摘要
A new kind of cycle, the cycle of leaked ASE noise or signal due to the bandwidth or central wavelength difference in optical filters, is proposed in WDM optical networks. Oscillations can take place in the cycle and result in adverse effects on network operation.
