摘要
This work discusses the influence of Bakhtin's Circle philosophy in the current methodologies of Portuguese Language teaching in Brazil. In this sense, it aims to investigate the function of the dialogical principle as the main factor for the implementation of methodologies that foment a teaching practice prioritizing the construction of competences for the social multiliteracy. Thus, one has mobilized concepts by the Circle's authors, such as Volochinov (2013), Volochinov (2017), Bakhtin (2010, 2011 and 2015), and others who interpret those theories, as Geraldi (1996, 1997), Antunes (2003), Rojo and Cordeiro (2004), Soares (2010), Rojo and Moura (2012, 2019). Methodologically, one has done a bibliographical, qualitative-interpertative research. As a result, one has concluded that the dialogical principle orients the current language teaching methodologies fomenting pedagogical practices lined up to the construction process of linguistic-discursive competences of the students, mainly to help them write and read in the diverse spheres of life.
