摘要
Efficient and effective logistics on board of ships gets more and more important for shipyards and ship owners to increase the product's functionality. Though, depending on the product type logistical processes on board of ships or in buildings may get very complex. This paper describes a concept for modelling these processes in order to do simulation analysis developed by two shipyards and a research institute within the European research project BESST. The development was harmonized in the interbranch cooperation SIMOFIT in order to cover requirements from civil engineering for buildings as well. The concept is based on simulation tools already applied at the partners for various purposes. It contains a concept for the software architecture, a hierarchical volume concept and methods for transport management. The concept was successfully validated at the partners on different ship types.
